Tug of War
Tug of War was fun!
Firstly Mrs Kumar asked Christian to
take the bag of rope up the field with someone but Christian said “can it be
llase and Alefaio” and so llase took the bag with Alefaio and they settled it up
for us to play with for Tug of War.
Next we got in two lines and the lines were boys line and girls line. Mrs Kumar mixed us up and
my team won because the other side was
rocky so they had no grip on the ground with their feet.
Then Mrs Goundar’s class came and we versed Room 9 and when we versed them we never lost
against them and when it was teacher versus teacher Mrs
Kumar won because the centre tape went on Mrs Kumar’s
side before Mrs Goundar side so Mrs Kumar won.
After that when we versed room 9 Mrs
Kumar said the trick is that we stand zig zag of the rope which meant one
person to stand on the left the other on the right side
and that was right - we won because that trick was the
one that made us win.
Later we were going to leave but Mrs
Goundar said “wait” because we were going to do more versing so we did - boys vs boys, girls vs girls
and teacher vs teacher and we never lost, that was cool for me because I didn’t know that we were going to win
all the rounds against Room 9.
Finally we took the rope and put it in
the white bag and we left the field. I felt really happy
and surprised because we won and were proud because I wanted to vs
against Room 9 and I didn’t know that we will win all of
the rounds against Room 9.

Tug of War
Tug of War was fun to play.
First we stood in a line on the field
while ‘Ilaise and Alefaio carried the
bag of little medium light poles, 2 gumboots and
the big rope to play Tug of War.
How many minutes/hours did it take.
It took for 60 minutes/one hour to play
Tug Of War.
Next we were on the field and we started to play Tug of War but first Mrs Kumar divided us equally into
two groups to make it fair for the teams and then we started to play Tug of War.
Then when we were having our last play
we saw Rm 9 coming out of their classroom. Mrs
Kumar and Mrs Goundar made a plan that we are going to verse Room 9. We
stayed on the field to play Tug of War with Room 9.
After that Ms Kumar told us if Rm 9 and us could vs on Tug of War and then after it was Room 9 boys versus Rm 8
boys and Rm 8 boys won but it was like a real one and
next it was Room 8 girls versus Room 9 girls and
still the Room 8 girls won.
Later it was Teacher/Mrs Kumar versus
Teacher/Mrs Goundar on the Tug of War Game and
there were some students helping one of them.
Finally the Tug of War Game was
finished and we all came back to class.
Conclusion - my favourite part was that Teacher/Mrs Kumar versed Teacher/Mrs Goundar and Mrs Kumar won but it was a fun game.

Happy Birthday Pippa!
It was Pippa's birthday and we were very lucky to have a piece or two of her birthday cake. Pippa cut the cake in class and she was super excited as well. Her mum bought her a chocolate cake from Pak & Save. Room 8 children sang her a Happy Birthday song and Mrs Kumar gave her a birthday card.
Once again Happy Birthday Pippa.

Jelly Bean Music
Mrs White came to teach us some music today. She taught us some of the main keys on the xylophone such as A,B,C,D etc and gave us the feel of how it sounds like when played with a plastic stick. It was really pleasing. We had fun.
