Our Rainbow Bracelets
This week Room 8 learners made bracelets using different colours of beads, which the teacher bought from Look Sharp store. After making the bracelets the learners were to write a recount how they made it by giving lots of details. It was challenging for some as they found putting the elastic cord in the holes quite difficult. Some even had their beads falling off from the other end of the chord. However it was nice to see learners assisting each other and coming up with a vibrant colours of bracelets which look like rainbow. Above is a little video to show how their bracelets look like.

Good morning Room 8, when you made those bracelets did you have a hard time putting on the beads and choosing colours? The bracelets look very colourfull. I wish I could have one!

Hi Room 8 and my name is Alex Stowers. I really liked looking at your video about you making your rainbow bracelets. Did you use a pattern for the colours and how long did they take you to make? I think they were a really good idea and one day I hope I can share something we do in our class.

Dear Room 8,
ReplyDeleteWe can’t wait to see your rainbow bracelets, it will be wonderful to see them. If you are wearing rainbow bracelets you are lucky but if you are not wearing one, that’s ok, you are still lucky. I would love to have one, one day or even learn how to make them.

Dear Room 8 why did the video called Rainbow bracelets not work? We pressed the play button but it didn’t start. But it’s working now because Danny came in. I’ve been in Look sharp before in New Market and seen some beads that are similar to yours. Do you think they came from there?
