Tavita's Henna

Henna patterns are cool on my hands!

First, my teacher was talking to us about what we had to do for work and then she noticed something and told us “ we are going to have a henna too. It was old I had it at my house my daughter has it on her hand and then hanna  came to my house and saw it on my daughters hand and I said do you want one and she said” yes.” When Mrs Kumar said to pippa” go get hanna please” and pippa went to get hanna.

When Mrs kumar said to pippa to get hanna she told us to” be quiet and wait for her” so we did we were quiet like ants. When pippa got hanna she showed us her henna that Mrs Kumar did on her hand. When Mrs Kumar told us to go on our chromebook we had to do our work she was doing the girls first and then the boys she did the boys after morning tea because she didn’t have enough time for the boys.

After morning tea she did the boys Mrs Kumar only did two girls after morning tea because they didn’t get there one done before morning tea because there was a lot of girls than boys but when it was the boys turn one of the boys didn’t get done because he was being bad and his mum got him for an appointment.

Finally it was lunchtime and the lunch bell rang for lunch time when it was lunch time I washed my hands and ate my lunch. I felt amazed of how Mrs Kumar was good of make patterns for us we had to take a photo of our hand.

Room 8's Henna

Today Room 8 learner's had experience with henna. They were so excited that they wanted their whole hand decorated with henna design. Due to time constraint the teacher was able to design simple but loveable designs. The learners were given experience to research and look at some patterns online.

People mainly have Henna designs when there is a celebration such as weddings, engagements, diwali, certain prayers and so on.

Because it was Diwali the class was also told and shown video about Diwali and why people celebrate Diwali. Every single child took keen interest in knowing about Diwali Festival and have the Henna done.

Christian's Henna

My henna
Best henna I have got

On Wednesday 2019 room 8 got a henna from Mrs Kumar. The girls got it first but Rolex done it together with the girls . Then the boys got it. The girls heena was different to the boys one.

Some boys got a square one and some boys got a diamond one and it was so cool. Mrs Kumar told me that especially indian girls do it. Pippa went to room 2 to get aahana we saw her heena mrs kumar said “it takes for a little bit long  to do the henna. When it was almost lunch room 11 came and mrs kumar said to room 11 “ they can get a henna after lunch. It tickles when mrs kumar do it. Mrs kumar said “it will only  get of  when 5 days past" . I felt like an indian.

Henna for Diwali Celebration

My Henna
My henna looked so incredible when my teacher put it on my hand !

On Wednesday the 30th of october, 2019 our teacher brought a Henna from her home so she can put it on us and design our hands just for Diwali but Diwali was on sunday but it is still fine. It was a very hot and sunny day.

Firstly we were all on our chromebooks and we were playing Coding. Before we were about to play coding our teacher told Pippa to go get Aahana because in the weekend on saturday Mrs Kumar put a Henna on her daughter and on sunday Aahana came to Mrs Kumar's house and Aahana was playing with Mrs Kumar’s Daughter and then Aahana saw Mrs Kumar's daughter’s Henna  and Mrs Kumar asked Aahana if she wanted a Henna Like Mrs Kumar's daughter and Aahana said ’’sure ’’ so Mrs kumar put it on Aahana. When Aahana came she showed us her Henna on both of her hands and she went back to class.

Next, While we were playing Coding our teacher was calling some people one by one to get their Henna on their hands. When some of us finished getting our Henna we Mrs kumar, which is our teacher she said we can take some photos so we can write about it and post it on our blog.

Later we it was morning tea and the bell rang so we went to wash our hands but the people who had their Henna had to wash 1 hand so their Henna doesn't get ruined after we finished washing our hands we ate our morning tea. After that, morning tea was over, we went back to class and Mrs Kumar was finishing puting the Henna on who she didn’t put it on.

Finally Rm 11 came and Mrs Kumar asked them if they wanted a Henna and they said ’’sure’’ so Mrs Kumar put it on them and they liked it like how we liked it. I felt super happy about my henna because the way my teacher made the henna in a design it looked so incredible.
