Porridge Making

Enjoy the photos of how the two Year 3/4 classes got together and made porridge for 45 learners. Making porridge was part of our inquiry learning - Heat. Have a look and think how the heat assisted the cooking process!

  1. Hi Room 8,
What a neat idea to use the process of making porridge as part of your inquiry learning on heat.
The slideshow was great to watch and it looked liked everyone enjoyed eating the porridge!

    1. Hi Raquel, yes it was a very neat idea to cook for the learners and at the sametime getting them to understand the process and how the porridge got cooked - Bang for the Buck, I should say. Plus not forgetting enjoying the porridge at the end. It was a big task as we had to cook for 45 present learners on that day. Lucky the cleaning part was been managed one of our wonderful lady, Pat. Had a successful day with happy learners.
